Roll a maori myth. Why it rains It was a normal day Tangaroa was swimming in the ocean when suddenly the water started to evaporate and Tangaroa was starting to get very hot, he knew that tama nui te ra was behind this so he shot up to the sky by making the water below him shoot upwards into the sky and shot the sun with water then the sun looked at him and shot a beam of light but tangaroa made a cloud to protect himself but the cloud stated to pour water on earth and they continued to fight but after the moon had come the fight ended so whenever the sun and tangaroa meet they start fighting and to shield himself tangaroa uses the clouds. Which is why it rains.
