bull fighting

 this is my 3rd summer learning journey post, Its about bull fighting. Bull fighting is a sport in Madrid (the capital of Spain) where a man or woman fights a bull and traps it and another man or woman kills it. some people like the sport and some people don't. I am one of the people that don't, I don't like it because its cruel for the bull and how it gets killed. Its also dangerous for the people playing the sport as the bull could kill them. ski trip

 

On Monday the seniors went on a ski trip to porter heights. It was supposed to be the Monday before but it got postponed because of bad weather.  when we were in the skis it was hard to move and was even harder to get up, I fell a lot. I learnt the basics of how to ski, make a triangle with your skis to slow down but don't cross them over. theirs a switch on your skis to take them off when your done or when you fell over,  Neal forwards and put your hands on your knees to help keep your balance. it was a dark Friday night, Daniel and his family were eating burgers for dinner when he felt something tickling his throat, A hair!!! he look around at his family he new one of them had to be responsible for this

    the mother: closest to Daniel and likely to have grey or white hair but not definite.












the father: furthest from Daniel but the most likely to have grey or white hair.

how to make a sling shot

how to make a sling shot

You will need scissors, tape a cardboard tube (small) a small ball and a balloon

first cut the top of the balloon with the scissors
take the hole in the balloon and put it around one hole of the cardboard tube
tape the balloon and cardboard tube together
put the ball inside the hole
pull back the balloon and let go (do not aim at breakable objects)

hovercraft

Today I will teach you how to make a hovercraft.

you will need a balloon, old DVD, a water bottle cap which can open and close and some blue tack.

first role the blue tack so it makes a worm then put it around the bottom of the water bottle lid.
press the bottom of the water bottle against the middle of the DVD.
fill the balloon with air and put it around the water bottle cap.
place it on a flat surface and open the cap.

congratulations you made a hovercraft.

the desk

I made a desk with the help of my dad and brother. I couldn't find a picture with everyone in it so I just chose this one. it took a long time to make but it was definitely worth it.

So far I have built a desk with the help of my Dad and Brother, done 3 Easter egg hunts two in real life and one online, texted my grandma a lot so she doesn't get bored and started an online school.
